Clear Creek CSD Customers
Centerville CSD Customers

Failure to follow this advisory could result in stomach or intestinal illness.

The Clear Creek CSD has confirmed their water treatment plant sustained only minor damage as the fire rolled through the area last night. The treatment plant is continuing to provide water to our distribution system. However, due to the ever-changing fire situation in the area, we, along with the Division of Drinking Water, are continuing to advise customers of the Clear Creek CSD and the Centerville CSD to use boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes as a safety precaution.

DO NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST. Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one (1) minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water. This is the preferred method to assure that the water is safe to drink.

We appreciate your patience as we strive to keep you informed of the situation and work to ensure your safety.

You will be informed when the water is again safe to drink, and these restrictions are removed.

Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.
